If you've ever been to the lakes in Maine you  made of heard the call of the loon - it's such peaceful experience.

I was able to spend some time last week with my family up to camp on Thomspon Lake in Oxford, Maine. We took a ride in the boat, went swimming, and watched the Loons...and had some Margaritas!

Love this still serene scene from this summer. We stayed at a friends camp and the Loons would swim by every morning making their beautiful Loon call.
