Rangeley Maine Lupine Fields Acrylic Painting

Second painting of the lupine fields in Rangely Maine. Guess I just can't get enough of the these gorgeous flowers.

I had the sweetest email from a gentleman that had seen a watercolor of lupines I painted a while back. He wanted to share a story with me about how he and his now wife were backpacking and he picked her a bouquet of Lupines and proposed to her with them in hand.  Awe.... He wanted to get her a Lupine painting to remind her of their special day for their 10th Anniversary.
