In Flight 5x7" Watercolor/Gouache - Butterfly Abstract

5x7" Watercolor/Gouache

So here it is, Day 1 of the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge that Leslie Saeta so graciously set up for all us artists. I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to get one done on the FIRST DAY due to having the flu for the past 3 days. Haven't been able to make it off the couch.

My head is still in the fog and I'm still coughing like crazy, but I'm in flight to getting better. This painting just came from playing with colors...had no idea what my plan was when I started, but it emerged.

I've decided to just play during this 30 days....I have no plans what so ever. Going to use this time as a creative time for my soul and I hope to inspire some of you to paint in 2013! Hope you enjoy and follow along!
