"Is art imitating nature or nature imitating art?" ~Sandy

 
 
I just had to share this gorgeous photo that my client, Sandy sent me today! This is her Hydrangea Alcohol Ink Tile she painted at my last instructional AI class at Jo-Ann Fabrics in Topsham, Maine in May.

The class was completely full so we added a second one for July 11th if you are interested! You can call the store for details at (207) 373-1465.

Alcohol Ink Class - "Hydrangeas" CraftMania Auburn, Maine

Class will run with 5 or more people to make sure to share and tell your friends!

Where: CraftMania, Auburn
Date: Saturday, May 16th
Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Scene: Hydrangeas (Your choice of colors)

All supplies are included for $40 or bring your own supplies and pay only $30!



9x18" Tiles will  be available to purchase for $3.

SUPPLY LIST
 Most supplies can be shared. Craftmania offers a 10% discount for items purchased for the class.
Please let them know before ringing items up.

Alcohol Inks (at least 3 colors or more) Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink

Blending solution
91% Isopropyl Alcohol (for cleaning tiles and brushes)
2 or 3 brushes (small, Med, Large)
Paper Towels
Old cookie sheet or tin foil (for tile)
Small container for alcohol
Paint pallet or small mixing tray
Q-tips
Gloves to protect hand from ink
Black Acrylic Paint (to paint edges)
Karmar Acrylic Clear Spray (To Seal tile when complete) you can wait to do this at home.

(Make sure to wear older clothes or an apron as the inks do stain)
