So here is the results of my background color poll.
Painted it in today and changed out the black frame for a warmer metallic silver.

8x10" Purple Finch - Need a background color
"PURPLE FINCH"
This is my artist version of their color - Now, they are more of a red but I just loved playing with the colors. All he needs is a background color, so posting this out there to pick your brains.
Some folks said a light yellow, others a heather gray, and some a light blue wash....What do you think?
