Crafts Fair and Daily Paintings

Had a great week, somehow managed to fit in 3 craft fairs, finish my daily paintings, and work on some pet commission painting for the holiday! I have 2 down and 3 more to go!

 SOLD

This is my first chance to post on my blog for a few days, so here are my three paintings I missed for the holiday special.

 "Little Niagara Falls"

I don't think I'll attempt the daily paintings right before the holidays again next year...it's been a little overwhelming.

My dog portrait requests have taken off this year as well...I'm super happy about that. I really enjoy capturing our little family members. Currently I have 3 that I"m trying to finish before the holidays....they are gifts, so I'll have to post them at a later date.

"Reflections"
Thanks for the name Terry!

I'm off to paint some more~

Blue Birch Trees - Mini Paintings 3x3"

A few more acrylic mini paintings to add to my collection for the fairs!
These are each 3x3"

And I was able to package some bookmarks for the fair too!
Boy, a lot of work goes into getting ready for one of these things. I will be better prepared for the next year......I hope!

Craft Fair Next Weekend

Fun with acrylics again today!

Painted some Northern Maine Pine Trees with snow. Opted for a light teal background to pop the trees out and I really love the abstract feel I got.

Getting ready for the craft fair next weekend...not really sure what to expect since this will be my first one. I know...it's taken me years to sell my work other than online. I'm a shy person by nature and I've really liked hiding behind the computer.

But the time has come for me to get out there and talk to folks one on one! So wish me luck and if you have any experience either as a buyer or seller at a craft fair - I would love to hear your thoughts!

I painted all the sides of the canvas as well. Thanks to my online artist friend Caren! She has some lovely work in acrylics and she's from MAINE too! Stop in a check out her work if you have the chance you can follow her on facebook
