"Getting Ready" Fall before Winter 30 in 30 Day 30

It's here...the last day of the painting challenge (clapping) Phew!

We headed out this weekend to take some pictures of the changing season,  but it hasn't quite hit where we are yet. A few trees here and there, but I know it's coming fast and I'm getting ready to hunker down for the cold winter months. It's always a great time to paint!

This Maine painting is so crisp looking and although the colors are warm fall colors I think you can feel the coolness in the air. Hope you enjoyed my daily paintings and continue to see what I come up with next week, because I promise to put out a painting a week for the rest of the year!

See  a painting you like and the original has been sold, please let me know and I'll be happy to add it as a print!

"Fall Blanket" - 30 in 30 Day 7 - By Kellie Chasse

"FALL BLANKET"

Click HERE to Bid On Auction

The leaves will soon be seeking their journey to the ground covering it like a warm blanket, and I can't wait for it!

Our family looks forward to the fall every year and it's one of the reasons we love Maine so much.

The leaves here turn the most beautiful shades of orange, red, and yellow. It's a big reason we have so many visitors to our state in the fall.

Welcome Leaf Peepers!

With each new season, a new feeling can over-come you. The fall is so crisp and cool and the smells of the earth rise up to greet you. There is nothing like a hot cup of coffee with the steam rising up into your face on a cool fall morning, you will usually see me wrapped up in my L.L. Bean blanket sipping away.

Loosen Up with Watercolors: Painting a Wildflower Field and Country Barn

Hey friends, In this week’s tutorial, I dove into one of my favorite types of scenes to paint—loose wildflowers with a sweet little country...
