Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day 30

The Final Day

Two by Two - Sailboats
Original Oil on Canvas
4x4" - $89.95

Well, hope you all enjoyed the past 30 days and all my Maine Art....it's been really fun for me!
It's been great changing up my medium from watercolor to oils to inks....kept it challenging for me.

I keep wondering if I could do a painting a day for a year. Guess only time will tell.
I'm sure Jan-Feb would be fine since I'll be armpit deep in snow according to the Farmer's Almanac.

It's the summer months that would be tough!
Well food for thought - if anyone is willing to join me....let me know!

Until next post......happy painting!

Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day 29

Sailboat
 Original Oil Painting on Canvas
4x4" - $89.95

Oh how I love these mini canvases! This is another small Oil painting "Warm Breezy Day" on a deep canvas 4x4". The light fluffy clouds...on a warm breezy day in Maine.

Working on a lighter touch and more bold strokes with the oil paints.  I really like the softness of the this one.

Hope you enjoy it!

Update: SOLD Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day 26

Original Watercolor with Mixed Media
8x10 Mat

After looking at this painting, I'm thinking it needs a sailboat in there!
Bar Harbor -Acadia area
8x10 Mat

This one looks a lot like my photo taken at Reid state park - hence the idea of the sailboat!

I think this will be tomorrow's inspirational photo!

Thirty Paintings in 30 Days -Day 17

Just got in my canvas order - I was so excited because they were on back ordered! My plan was to paint 30 small oil paintings for the challenge, but these little buggers didn't want to join in on the plan, so I've been bouncing between Oils, Watercolor and inks.

I do enjoy a little change up!
These are so cute and are the perfect travel piece for the JetPort! They should be dry and ready for the Holiday season! The size is 4x4 with a deep canvas edge.

Shot before I added the sailboat.

"End of Summer Sail"

$99.99 Oil on Museum Canvas 4x4"

I've had a number of folks looking for sailboats or boat pictures so I added the sailboat in.

This piece is still wet and drying on the little stand for now, but I will be adding a wire to the back.

Day 25 "Reflections of Maine"

"Reflections Of Maine"

5x7 Watercolor/Gouache/Ink

Day 25/30 of our Daily Painting Challenge.

After yesterday's daily painting I've decided to paint my go to subject......a nice calm Maine reflection.  I have to make dinner so you can see I was in a hurry to take the picture - the paint is still wet on the sailboat! On another note...the weekend paintings seem to be the hardest for me to accomplish. When my family is home with me, my focus is on usually on them. My husband is making fun of me at the moment...."NICE" he said..."Blame us!" LOL.
