Thirty Paintings in 30 Days - Day 28

"Nature Walk"
11x14 Watercolor in 16x20" Mat
$200

Really enjoyed painting my mini painting late last night so I wanted to re-create something a little similar but with a few more details in a larger painting.

Here's a picture of the mini and the 16x20 Matted one from today.

Now it's time to part up all my supplies for tonight's Ink Workshop that I"ll be teaching at Joanns in Topsham, Maine tonight from 6-8pm. Fingers crossed that everyone makes it....some are still digging out from the Blizzard of 2015!

Hand Painted Watercolor Bookmark

Worked on some hand painted watercolor bookmarks yesterday. The picture needs to be changed out on etsy, but I wanted to get them up there quickly because I have a watercolor workshop today. I'm rushing....not good, but it is what it is.

These are so much fun to paint. Each little bookmark is  hand painted and cut separately so no two are exactly alike.

Paper books are still an important part of our culture - everyone still needs a bookmark right?

These would be a great idea for the work shops....hmmm, maybe we'll add these to our PartyPainter  scene options!

$4.95 each

YMCA Auburn Maine Kids Painting Class

CREATIVITY

A special thank you to  Pam and the YMCA in Auburn Maine for inviting me back for a second watercolor workshop with the kids.

I have to say that I love teaching the kids...they always have the best questions and are so eager.... making the process of creativity so much fun! I created a special cupcake painting scene for them. Valentines Day is tomorrow so it was a perfect fit!

Pam made some real home made mini cupcakes that sat on the tables as the MODEL for the kids to paint from, and BONUS.... she had some ready for them to eat afterwards!

SUPER JOB Kiddo's!! Hope to see you again real soon. ~ Kellie
