Busy Weekend with Alcohol Inks!

Had a terrific weekend with sales and had to see so many wonderful people at the yearly Craft Show at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School this past Saturday!
A number of collectors and friends came by to see me, and I want to thank them very much for all their support!

Oh, and if you see something in the picture you just gotta have, let me know!

Sunday Morning my mother and I heading out to The Gallery 11 at Pleasant in Brunswick to hang our November exhibit for the Small Works - Holiday Gifts! All the art is reasonably priced and perfectly small for the gift giving season.

There will be an opening Artist reception with drinks and live music and gift wrapping available on Friday, November 14th from 5-8. They will be doing a give-a-way for a few $25 gift certificates too! Would love to see you all there!

Cooks Lobster House Maine Art Exhibit

 "SLICE OF BLUEBERRY HEAVEN"

Looking forward to putting up my Art Exhibit  at Cooks Lobster House , on Bailey Island Maine this weekend for the month of September! I was really excited to read that Cooks Lobster House was in OPRAH's O Magazine , for 2013's Summer Fun Things To Do in July, how cool is that!
Thought the Blueberry Pie Slice would be a good one for there! Maine's blueberry pie...hmmm, wonder if they are serving it at Cooks this weekend? I may have to eat the real thing if they do...even if I am trying to eat healthy (That's no fun).

Stop on in if you have the chance - they have some great food and have you all see that GIANT LOBSTER there? It's a Hoot!
Don't forget to find me on Facebook or sign up for my blog post via email!

Starbucks Exhibit - Topsham Maine

Just put up a little art exhibit at Starbucks in Topsham!

I was a few days behind the eight ball getting my work up at Starbucks this month! Here's my GREAT excuse - :)  Many of you may know from past blog-posts that our family is in the process of buying a home as well as selling our current one! Oh my, I've cleaned things that I forgot I had!

Ever wonder why the simplest and easiest fixes are never done in your home, that is until you have to put it up for sale? Then it only takes you a few minutes to do and you wish you had done it sooner so you could enjoy the FIXIENESS (my word).

Anyways...If you are out and about for a cup of java, would love to have you stop on by and take a peek.  I'll be up for the entire month of July.

Since it's the tourist season here in Maine I chose a few lighthouses and the Chickadee since it's our Maine state bird.

Exhibit All Set Up - I'm Pooped!

Set up my exhibit this week at the Highlands in Topsham, Maine.
"MR BLUE" got his own wall!

Here I am next to my 22x30"
       Watercolor/Gouache

The room is huge - even has a baby grand in there!

Found this adorable Shabby Chic Antique Frame
for "Seaside"

Here is my mother and I.
I love this woman with all my heart!
She and our dear friend Carol Ann worked with me for a few
hours setting up. The least I could do was treat them to lunch!

Hard to tell the scale of the paintings here, but the larger "River Rocks" is 22x30"
and the "Little River Rocks are each 8x8".

And my best picture ever-ahh (with my "Mainer" accent)!
Me at the end of this crazy week....pooped out!
