| Art Tags - Perfect for Retail Shops and Craft Fairs |
I used a Metal Punch for Retail Hanger that I purchased on Amazon to punch out the little peg hooks holder for my hanging jewelry pieces. I found that you can also use just a regular hole punch, but it will depend on the retail hooks.
Another option and one of my favorite ways, because I'm all about presentation is to use the cards to write up a mini description. This let's your customers know that these are original one of a kind, hand painted art piece. I then place the pendant in a simple elegant white gift box. It is a bit more expensive but it really creates that next level of professionalism.
You can order these little jewelry boxes from Amazon. I like to purchase them in Bulk and they end up around .35 cents a piece for 100 with Prime free shipping for me.
Please feel free to check out the Online Course's: Resin Jewelry Pendant Now $12 or Alcohol Ink Pendant Course Now $12 both are normally priced at $40 each.

Here are some recent reviews from ART STUDENTS:
★★★★★ "EASY TO FOLLOW"
I have been a Bob Ross certified instructor for 26 years and I have taught in various venues. Kelly is very clear in her instructions and she makes it easy to follow what she is doing. The class is simple enough for beginners and yet she gives the student plenty of room for creating a little on their own. The instruction on the supplies was also clear and easy to follow.
~Cherly M.
★★★★★ "ENJOYED"
"I enjoyed doing this this painting. I am new to watercolor. Was able to follow, having to go back occasionally. Will probably do this painting several times just for the practice. I contacted the Kellie Chasse sight because of interest in alcohol oil painting. So will be an active student for awhile to come. Thank you for a great beginning!!"
~Kathleen F.
★★★★★ "BIG HELP"
"Because everything was explained so simply, and Kellie's painting in real time was a very big help. I intend to take more of her courses in the future."
~Jill B.

How To Make Hand Made Gift Tags
This is the best little tool for making the cutest little hand made gift card tags for your gifts, crafts, or art! It really gives a nice professional look. Perfect for the holidays too!
It's called the Clever Lever Corner Craft Punch. They have many versions.
It cuts the corners with a nice finished edge and stamps out a little design flair. This one looks like a little wave, but they have snowflakes, squares, clouds... really anything you can imagine.
For this particular gift card I used an sheet of acid free linen paper, but you can use any kind of paper in any color and in any size! I cut the paper to match the size I want first, then fold and punch the corners.
Punch a hole in the corner, add some ribbon or string and ta-dah!
You may
have seen yesterday's blog post on some hand painted ornaments...I used
the gift tags there too. (So you can see another size and paper)

How to Make A Snowman bookmark
So here is how I made them!
First tape down your paper and separate each bookmark shape - I like to put a 1/4" border around mine.
Then I pencil in my snowman shapes.
Using Black gouache paint I painted my backgrounds.
Once the backgrounds are dried I put in the faces and orange carrot nose.
Using White gouache and a small brush I add snow to the tops of the nose and head and then take a wet toothbrush, splatter the snow flakes.
Remove the tape once they are dry.
Trim and cut them separately. It's okay that no two are exact - that what makes them hand made!
Then just pop in a hole punch at the top and pull a ribbon through!
Then package them up for the holidays!

My new "ART WORK SPACE"
My friend Michele is an incredible
designer and with lots of her help we designed a new office for my
husband and I to share. It's not completely done yet...but we have a
great start!
Here is a picture of my new "ART" work space. I have my art desk top placed high at 42" so that we can stand or sit on a drafting chair. (Drafting chair is on order).
This is the other side of the room. You can't see it in this picture, but we have a "T" shaped desk. Larry is on one side and I'm on the other. We also put in a little reading/ R and R chair. More pictures to come. Still have to stain the tops of the desk and seal them. I am so excited...I will actually have a place for all my "STUFF"! We picked up some neat little box cubes from Micheals craft store. They work like a charm as the desk bases.

Art Jewelry Organizer
My seasonal job at L.L. Bean is over, my son is back in school, and the holidays are over. I'm excited to get back to painting with watercolors!
I did get some creative art juices flowing for the holidays! They were the more crafty ideas and I found them really fun. I made individual Jewelry Organizers for my friends and family. They liked them so much it was suggested I sell them.
